UFC Live 5 Draws 766,000 Viewers on Versus

UFC Live 5 earned an average of 766,000 viewers during its Sunday broadcast on cable network Versus, Sherdog.com confirmed Tuesday with an industry source.

Demographic and household rating data was not immediately available.

The event’s ratings placed it in the middle of the UFC’s five Versus-televised events to date. The number marked a slight improvement from June’s UFC Live 4, which averaged 744,000 viewers, but fell short of UFC Live 2 (991,000) and the inaugural card (1.24 million).

Headlined by veteran Chris Lytle’s final Octagon appearance, UFC Live 5 went down at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. Lytle took out heavy-handed Brit Dan Hardy, battering the former welterweight title challenger by consistently beating him to the punch during their many standup exchanges and eventually submitting him via guillotine choke in the third round.
