Jasmine Jasudavicius (125) vs. Julia Polastri (125)

Round 1

Jasudavicius takes the center of the cage and pumps out a couple jabs, looking to utilize her height and reach advantage. Jasudavicius secures the clinch and trips Polastri down near the fence. Jasudavicius works to free her left leg and pass to full mount. Jasudavicius postures up and then stands, landing some ground-and-pound from above. Jasudavicius drops back into half guard and drops an elbow. Jasudavicius remains heavy on top as we approach the 2:00 mark of the period. Polastri is limiting ground-and-pound offense, but she isn’t threatening to scramble back up. Jasudavicius increase the intensity of her assault, and she lands some solid punches and elbows. Polastri looks content to remain in half guard and try to limit her opponent’s attacks. Jasudavicius stands and unloads with heavy left and right hands, briefly using the cage to her advantage. Jasudavicius ends the frame with more heavy elbows and punches but can’t quite get a stoppage.

Round 2

Polsatri catches Jasudavicious with a head kick as her foe presses the action. Moments later, however, Polastri walks right into a body lock takedown and she’s on her back in the center of the cage. Jasudavicius stands and kicks at her opponent’s legs, but Polastri doesn’t seem in a hurry to get up. Finally, Polastri is up and she waves Jasudavicius forward. Jasudavicius changes levels, gets a single leg and eventually plants Polastri on the canvas. Jasudavicius punches the gut with a series of lefts, and Polastri ansers with strikes form her back. Polastri scrambles up, but Jasudavicius traps her in the Thai clinch and punishes her with knees against the fence. Polastri answers with a knee and uppercut, but Jasudavicius shoves her right back into the cage. Finally, Polastri is able to gain separation. She lands a head kick that connects foot-to-face on Jasudavicius. Polastri sprawls and denies a Jasudavicius takedown. Polastri is walking her adversary down toward the end of the frame, landing some decent punching combinations. The round ends with the combatants trading on the feet.

Round 3

Polastri steps in and lands a lead left hook. Polastri lands a solid right hand, then pressures with a combination before stuffing a takedown. In close quarters, Polastri connects with a slashing elbow. Polastri stalks Jasudavicius, then lands a right hand followed by a high kick. Polastri is consistently winning exchanges on the feet now, and she generally has Jasudavicius on the retreat. Another combination lands for Polastri. Polastri stops a takedown and lands a knee to the midsection. Polastri marches ahead and sticks a one-two. Jasudavicius shoots for a takedown and gets it at the 1:30 mark of the round. Jasudavicius is in half guard as Polastri clings to a futile guillotine. Jasudavicius lands some short punches to the ribs, then switches to elbows to the head. As time ticks down Jasudavicius keeps the pressure on from above. Jasudavicius stands in the waning seconds and attempts to jump in with more strikes.

Ange Loosa (170) vs. Jack Della Maddalena (170.5)

Round 1

Loosa comes out pumping his jab before landing a air of low kicks. Another low kick lands for Loosa, and Maddalena answers with a two-punch combination. A solid right connects for Loosa. Loosa pops Maddalena with a pair of jabs. Loosa catches a kick and secures a rear-waistlock. A scramble ensues, with Maddalena nearly taking the back before both welterweights returned to their feet. Maddalena wobbles Loosa with a massive punch. Now Maddalena is finding the range, landing multiple combinations against his opponent. Maddalena lands a left to the head, followed by a left to the body. Loosa throws a body kick but is met by another punching combination from the Aussie. Maddalena steps in with a lead uppercut. Loosa fires off a low kick. Maddalena lands a front kick down the middle. Maddalena follows a two-punch combo with a knee to the midsection. Loosa connects with a jab and Maddalena answers with another combination before the end of the round.

Round 2

Maddalena lands a jab, then a right hand, and he pressures Loosa with a nice combination. Loosa moves forward with straight right hands, but Maddalena angles away from danger. A nice left uppercut connects for Maddalena. Maddalena lands a right hand, then stuffs a Loosa takedown. They’re back up quickly, and Maddalena counters a low kick by stringing together a high-volume combination. Maddalena shoves Loosa into the fence, but a knee lands low and the action is paused. The action resumes and Loosa has a body kick blocked. Maddalena slips a punch, and answers with a combination. Maddalena slips and Loosa is able to secure top position. Loosa works from half guard, landing punches to the ribs. Loosa jumps to side control and he has an arm-triangle choke locked in with more than a minute remaining. It looks bad, but Maddalena escapes and explodes to his feet. Loosa lands a front kick to the midsection. Maddalena draws blood near the left eye of his opponent with a standing elbow, then lands another elbow before the end of the round.

Round 3

Maddalena enters the third round for the first time in his MMA career. Maddalena lands a jab, then a right hook-straight left combination. Maddalena stuffs a takedown, then attempts to ground Loosa near the fence. They separate and trade in the center of the cage. Maddalena has the far superiour volume in the exchange. Maddalena shoots for a takedown, but Loosa sprawls. A right from Loosa finds the range, as he remains active late in the fight. Maddalena appears to be slowing down, and Loosa is landing with more volume. A body kick lands for Loosa, then he follows with a combination. Maddalena lands a right hook, then nearly dislodges Loosa’s mouthguard with a one-two. Loosa finds the range on a body kick, then eats another two-punch combination. Loosa secures a takedown with about 1:30 left in the fight. He’s working inside Maddalena’s full guard. Loosa is spewing blood on the mat from the elbow he absorbed earlier in the match. Loosa defends against Maddalena’s active guard and maintains positional control. Maddalena scrambles up with 15 seconds left. With Loosa’s vision impaired due to the blood, Maddalena goes to work, landing multiple punches and a high kick before the horn.

Lukasz Brzeski (234.5) vs. Dylan Potter (232.5)

Round 1

Brzeski lands an overhand right during an early exchange. Brzeski lands a two-punch combination, but Potter answers with a counter right hand. They trade and Potter eats a couple of heavy shots brom Brzeski. Potter attacks with low kicks but eats a combination from Brzeski. Brzeski trips Potter to the mat and dives in his foe’s gaurd with ground-and-pound. Brzeski drops more punches and elbows while navigating Potter’s guard. Brzeski creates some room and lands a pair of right hands. Potter rolls to set up an armbar but Brzeski easily frees his arm. Potter transitions to a leg lock, Brezeski frees himself and dives back into top position. Potter reverses position and the heavyweights are back to their feet. Potter lands a couple more leg kicks. Brzeski pressures forward with pnches and shoves Potter into the cage. Potter circles off and lands a body kick. Brzeski closes the distance and lands a knee and an uppercut in close quarters. Brzeski lands a solid straight right before the horn and ends the round attacking Potter near the fence.

Round 2

Potter steps in with an unorthodox right hand. As they trade, Potter partially lands a spinning back elbow. Brzeski secures the clinch against the fence and lands a knee to the body. Potter turns his man around and lands an uppercut. Brzeski backs up Potter with a pair of right hands then lands a front kick and a two-punch combination against the fence. Brzeski still has Potter’s back to the fence, landing consistent offense. Potter gets off the fence and lands a striaght left. Brzeski closes the distance and shoves Potter back into the cage. Brzeski grinds away, pushing his head under Potter’s jaw before scoring a body lock takedown. Brzeski has a mounted crucifix and he’s dropping a steady stream of elbows on his opponent. Potter is able to roll to a turtled position to escape that predicament. Brzeski looks for openings to land punches to the head. Potter crawls to the fence, but Brzeski makes him carry his weight. Brzeski rides Potter near the fence, landing punches to the side of the head. Potter’s mouthpiece falls out, but he puts it back in himself. Brzeski stays busy, pepparing Potter with shots, but they’re not heavy enough to get a stoppage. Still a dominant frame for Brzeski.

Round 3

Brzeski pressures again but Potter avoids getting pressed into the cage. Brzeski lands a right, then attacks with punches against the fence, forcing Potter to shoot. Brzeski defends and now Potter is on all fours, with the Pole making him carry his weight. Potter is able to work his way back up. Potter fires off a big right hand, but Brzeski answers with a low kick. Brzeski backs Potter up into the fence with a combination, then leans on his opponent. Brzeski stays active against the fence, but Potter responds with a spinning back elbow. Brzeski eats it and batters his foe with punches and knees to the face. Brzeski dumps Potter to the mat with about 2:00 remaining. Now Brzeski makes his foe carry his weight once again, then he locks in a rear-naked choke. Potter moves his right hand to try and grab his foe’s wrist. Though it doesn’t appear to be a tap, referee Mark Smith steps in and waves off the bout. Potter protests the call, but not too vehemently since he was well on his way to losing a decision.

Albert Duraev (184.5) vs. Caio Bittencourt (186)

Round 1

Bittencourt fies off a pair of jabs and then two hard lock kicks. Duraev has seen enough and he explodes for a takedown against the fence. Bittencourt posts one hand momentarily. When Bittencourt attempts to stand, Duraev muscles him back down and achieves full mount. The Russian is extremely heavy on top. He has Bittencourt’s arm trapped and lands a series of short punches to the face. Bittencourt escapes that situation, but Duraev continues to batter him with ground-and-pound. Bittencourt is now on all fours as Duraev continues to smother him and hammer away. Duraev is threatening with a choke and then punishing the Brazilian with punches as Bittencourt tries to defend. The assault pays off, as Duraev is able to find an opening to slide his arm under his foe’s chin. It’s not a full rear-naked choke, but more of a neck crank. He flattens Bittencourt on the mat and continues to squeeze until Bittencourt has no choice but to tap. Absolutely dominating performance for Duraev.

Brandon Lewis (135.5) vs. Mo Miller (135.5)

Round 1

Lewis opens up with a solid low kick. Lewis is using a variety of kicks ot keep Miller at bay. Miller finds the range on a straight right hand. Lewis with another low kick. Miller throws a standing side kick, then avoids a low kcik from his opponent. Miller pressures and lands a solid right hand before changing levels for a takedown against the fence. Miller controls one of Lewis’ arms and lands a series of left hands to the face. Lewis now has a small cut under his left eye. Lewis secures full guard, but Miller stays active with punches from above. Miller stands, lands a right hand and dives back into guard. Miller lands a pair of short elbows as he maintains top position. Miller stands up and Lewis stands and whiffs on a spinning elbow before the horn.

Round 2

Lewis opens up by landing a low calf kick. Miller finds the range on a right hand. Lewis continues to attck with low kicks against his rangier adversary. A big overhand right connects for Miller. Miller pressures and lands a body kick. Lewis attacks with another heavy low kick. A jab from Miller stuns Lewis, and that allows Miller to get a takedown near the fence. Miller sets up in his opponent’s full guard. Miller peppers away with punches to the ribs. Lewis wants to set up an armbar, but Miller isn’t having it. Miller continues to apply heavy top pressure, as he looks to create openings to land punches and elbows. Miller stands and then throws Lewis’ legs aside while diving in with a heavy right hand. Now Miller is in half guard, and Lewis thinks about a kimura but lets it go. Lewis has no answers from his back, and Miller is going to ride out the round on top.

Round 3

Lewis pressures and can’t quite find the range on a straight right. Miller has a high kick blocked. Miller sticks a jab, but Lewis answers with a low kick. Miller changes levels for a takedown. Lewis sprawls well initially, but Miller adjusts and gets his man down in the center of the Octagon. It looks like a repeat of the previous round, and Lewis appears to be frustrated as he slaps the side of Miller’s head. Miller does his best to stay busy with periodic punches and elbows. Miller continues to control positioning, while Lewis struggles to create scrambles from his back. More punches to the ribs land for Miller. Lewis gets to all fours, and Miller lets go of a front headlock as they separate. Lewis forces the issue and lands a low kick. He needs a finish here, but Miller executes a perfectly-timed takedown with about a minute left in the bout. Mark Smith urges Miller to work on top. Miller ends the round in top position once again.

Jailton Almeida (203) vs. Nasrudin Nasrudinov (206)

Round 1

They touch gloves and we’re underway. After a quick clinch, Nasrudinov tosses Almeida to the mat. Almeida is able to scramble his way up, and he holds on to a body lock as Nasrudinov lands some left hands to the face. Almeida emphatically slams his foe to the mat. The Brazilian gets a hook in and hunts for a rear-naked choke. Nasrudinov defends and eventually reverses into top position. Nasrudinov traps an arm momentarily, then stands to land some punches on Almeida. The Dagestani drops into half guard and Almeida tries for an ankle lock. Nasrudinov spins out of danger and allows Almeida to stand. A heavy low kick lands for the Brazilian. THey clinch and Almeida backs up Nasrudinov with a left. Moments later, Almeida executes an outside trip and punches away with right hands while on Nasrudinov’s back. Almeida gets a takedown at the horn.

Round 2

Nasrudinov lunges in with a flying knee, but it allows Almeida to secure a body-lock takedown. The Brazilian works to secure hooks and back control, but Nasrudinov is defending well. Almeida doesn’t give up on the position and eventually secures both hooks, rolls Nasrudinov over to his stomach and locks in a choke. It’s tight, and Nasrudinov can only hang on for a few seconds before he is forced to tap out.
