By The Numbers: Cory Sandhagen vs. Deiveson Figueiredo

Cory Sandhagen still aspires to one day reach the top of the Ultimate Fighting Championship bantamweight mountain.

“Sandman” will confront Deiveson Figueiredo in the UFC on ESPN 67 headliner this Saturday at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa. Sandhagen has compiled a 10-4 record across his 14 appearances inside the Octagon. However, he finds himself on the rebound following a unanimous decision loss to Umar Numragomedov at UFC on ABC 7 in August. Figueiredo, meanwhile, has posted three wins in four outings since he completed his tetralogy with Brandon Moreno in 2023. The two-time flyweight champion last saw action at UFC Fight Night 248, where he dropped a unanimous decision to Petr Yan on Nov. 23.
