George Hardwick Predicts a Third-Round Finish Over Chris Bungard at CW 147

George Hardwick foresees a stoppage over Chris Bungard in their upcoming championship clash at CW 147.

Current Cage Warriors Fighting Championship 155-pound titleholder Hardwick (10-1, 4-1 CW) is ready to add another finish to his resume and notch his first title defense at the same time. After making his Cage Warriors return in June 2021, the Middlesbrough Fight Academy representative has stopped all his foes. In his latest appearance, he crushed Kyle Driscoll in the fourth stanza in the CW 141 headliner to capture the vacant belt. Now, he aims to do the same to his next adversary.

“In my last two fights, I predicted the stoppage in the right round. I predicted the second round in March and predicted the fourth round [in July]. I think third round for this fight. It could come quicker, but he's tough. He's got that kind of veteran savvy. They know how to survive, some of these more experienced guys. If he is giving up his back, I finish quick, but sometimes these veteran people who've been in there and got that cage time, they know how to find the spots to survive even when they're tired, even when they're struggling, even when they've taken some damage. I'm expecting the third round. If it comes quicker, it comes quicker, but if I had to put one round, put your money on that. I'd say third.”
