Toyo Tires® SEMA Booth to Feature New Look, New iPad App, New Products and More

(PRESS RELEASE) -- CYPRESS, CALIFORNIA – “New” and “debut” will be the buzz words in the Toyo Tires U.S.A. Corp. (Toyo Tires®) booth next week at the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. A new location near the main entrance of the South Hall and an all-new look will be the first two things show attendees will notice about the booth (#40029). The all-new Open Country A/T II light truck tire and all-new Proxes 4 Plus ultra-high performance tire will also be on display along with 13 other Toyo tires. Learning about the products will be easier than ever with the new Toyo Tires iPad® app displayed on every tire kiosk. The app includes product information, sizes and more.

Dressing the Toyo Tires booth this year will be four crowd-stopping vehicles, including two making their U.S. debut. These vehicles demonstrate the broad range of products offered by Toyo Tires.

Custom Truck HQ Ford® Raptor® with Toyo® Open Country® A/T II tires

This silver 2011 Ford Raptor is the perfect truck to show off the toughness of the all-new Toyo Open Country A/T II. Featuring a Roush® Off-Road package and 35X12.50R20LT Open Country A/T II tires, this truck is ready to take on nearly any obstacle that gets in its way. The Raptor was built by Custom Truck HQ.

WALD® Black Bison Edition Mercedes Benz® W463 G-Wagen with Toyo® Proxes® ST II™ tires

Making its U.S. debut in the Toyo Tires booth is the crowd-stopping, matte purple WALD Black Bison Edition Program for the Mercedes Benz W463 G-Wagen. Designed by Wald International of Japan, this upgraded Mercedes Benz symbolizes the sport tire segment that Toyo Tires helped define for SUVs and light trucks. The G-Wagen will be equipped with 295/30ZR24 Toyo Proxes ST II high-performance tires.

Liberty Walk Lamborghini® Murcielago® LP620 with Toyo® Proxes® T1R™ tires

The perfect blend of performance, style and luxury, this unique 2004 Murcielago is sure to draw attention. Riding on 235/35ZR19 (front) and 345/25ZR20 (rear) Toyo Proxes T1R tires, it has been upgraded by Liberty Walk Co. Ltd. of Japan, Asia’s number one Lamborghini tuner. Body components include: LB Performance front and rear bumper/spoilers, an LB Performance rear wing, and radical-looking LB Performance wide over fenders. A set of CSD brakes help stop this raging bull and a stainless steel look Boomcraft vinyl wrap makes this car even more sinister.

WALD® Scion® FR-S® with Toyo® Proxes® T1-Sport

Also making its U.S. debut from WALD International of Japan, this 2013 Scion FR-S is equipped with a WALD body kit and 245/35ZR18 Toyo Proxes T1-Sport ultra-high performance tires wrapped around Volk Racing TE37SL Black Edition wheels. The body kit imported by Jonari includes a WALD Sportsline front half bumper, a WALD Sportsline side skirt set, and a WALD Sportsline rear bumper with matching double-stacked exhaust tips.

SEMA Show attendees also have the opportunity to meet popular sports celebrities, many appearing for the first time at the SEMA Show, and receive great giveaways Tuesday thru Thursday.
