(PRESS RELEASE) -- Brooklyn, New York (July 10, 2013) -With many Ring of Combat fighter alumni that crossed over to the UFC, Lou Neglia looks to take his successful formula to the next level and has his sights on landing a deal with network television to give many of tomorrows MMA superstars a platform to compete today.

Ring Of Combat has seen many fighters who are now on UFC "We are the American Idol of MMA," said Lou. The latest success story for Lou Neglia's Ring Of Combat happened this past weekend at UFC 162 when Chris Weidman (10-0) knocked out long reigning middleweight champion, Anderson Silva (31-5). While most observers think Weidman did the impossible, Lou feels that Weidman's 4-0 run in the Ring Of Combat prepared him for his success in the UFC. "I said before that no matter what happens, Chris is coming to fight," said Lou. "When he gets hit, he grits his teeth and fires back immediately. Chris has the mental toughness to be a great champion and I am very happy for him and he deserves this."

Other Ring Of Combat alumni who have found success in the UFC are Matt Serra, Frankie Edgar, Edson Barboza, Uriah Hall and fast rising middleweight Costa Philippou. They need to train on all aspects of the fight game and television is another avenue for them to show the world how hard they worked to get there."
