UFC 211 Update: Jarjis Danho to Face Dmitry Poberezhets in Dallas on May 13

Jarjis Danho will meet Dmitry Poberezhets in a heavyweight contest at UFC 211 in Dallas.

The Las Vegas-based promotion announced the pairing on Thursday. UFC 211 takes place at American Airlines Arena on May 13 and features a heavyweight title showdown between Stipe Miocic and Junior dos Santos.

The 33-year-old Danho is still looking for his first UFC triumph after two Octagon appearances. “Man Mountain” dropped a technical decision to Daniel Omielanczuk in his debut at UFC Fight Night 84 before battling Christian Columbo to a majority draw in his second outing at UFC Fight Night 93 on Sept. 3.

Poberezhets enters his promotional debut with a 24-5 career record. The 31-year-old Ukraine native has finished 14 wins by KO/TKO and five via submission. He is unbeaten in his last 15 bouts.
