Dean’s referee assignment was revealed during Thursday’s Nevada Athletic Commission meeting. The veteran official has overseen three of Johnson’s 125-pound belt defenses: wins over John Moraga (UFC on Fox 8), Chris Cariaso (UFC 178) and John Dodson (UFC 191).

Meanwhile, judges Sal D’Amato, Junichiro Kamijo and Jeff Mullin will score the “TUF 24” main event from cageside.

The "TUF 24” finale takes place on Dec. 3 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Johnson will face the winner of the current iteration of the reality show, which features flyweight champions from various regional promotions.

Johnson has successfully defended the 125-pound strap eight times since capturing the inaugural flyweight crown at UFC 152. “Mighty Mouse” last appeared at UFC 197, where he stopped Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo with knees to the body in the opening stanza.
