The Walkmen: UFC 202 ‘Diaz vs. McGregor 2’

UFC 202 gave rise to a memorable night of action, with submissions, brutal knockouts and a blood-and-guts main event that went the distance on Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. As has always been the case, the music to which the fighters walked to the Octagon was a story in itself.

The headliner between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz was a battle for the ages, as the two bitter rivals emptied their gas tanks over five epic rounds. In the end, McGregor evened the score -- Diaz had submitted the Irishman at UFC 196 -- with the Stockton, California, native by earning a majority decision. Both men strolled to the cage jamming to two late, great rival rappers. McGregor paired the Notorious B.I.G. classic “Hypnotize” with Sinead O’Connor’s “Foggy Dew” while Diaz opted to go with Tupac’s “Ambitionz az a Ridah” ahead of the rematch.

Meanwhile, Donald Cerrone once again went with Kid Rock’s “Cowboy” as his theme song before tearing apart Rick Story in their featured clash at 170 pounds. Story blasted Avenged Sevenfold’s “This Means War” as he headed for the Octagon. Other standout tracks include Rob Zombie’s “Living Dead Girl” (Cortney Casey), Notorious B.I.G.’s “Juicy” (Artem Lobov), Queen’s all-time classic “We Will Rock You” (Cody Garbrandt), Lecrae’s “No Regrets” (Neil Magny) and Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” (Takeya Mizugaki).
