Amanda Nunes continues to look like an unstoppable force.

“Lioness” defended her featherweight title for the first time in the UFC 250 headliner, cruising to a dominant unanimous verdict against Felicia Spencer at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Spencer displayed admirable toughness in defeat but was never really in the fight. Nunes joins Daniel Cormier and Henry Cejudo as the only fighters to successfully defend titles in two different weight classes.

Here is a by-the-numbers look at UFC 250, with statistics courtesy of UFCStats.com.

11: Consecutive victories for Nunes, tying her with Kamaru Usman for the second-longest active winning streak in the UFC. Reigning lightweight king Khabib Nurmagomedov is No. 1 with 12 straight wins.

8: Victories in title fights for Nunes. That ties her with Jose Aldo for the third most in the history of the promotion. Only Jon Jones (14) and Anderson Silva (11) have more championship wins.

124: Significant strikes landed by Nunes. Spencer, by comparison, landed 42. The Brazilian two-division champion was in complete control, outlanding her foe 21 to 2 in Round 1, 23 to 11 in Round 2, 29 to 10 in Round 3, 34 to 13 in Round 4 and 17 to 6 in Round 5.

6: Takedowns landed in seven attempts for Nunes. Spencer failed on all seven of her takedown tries.

4: KO/TKO victories in UFC competition for Cody Garbrandt, tying him with Thomas Almeida and Rob Font for third most in the history of the bantamweight division. “No Love” halted a three-bout skid with a beautiful KO of Raphael Assuncao at the 4:59 mark of Round 2 in the evening’s co-main event.

2: Submission attempts in a less than two minutes by Aljamain Sterling against Cody Sandhagen in a featured bantamweight encounter. “Funk Master” secured the second of two rear-naked choke tries, tapping his foe at the 1:28 mark of the opening stanza.

4: Submission victories in UFC competition for Sterling, tying him with Marlon Vera for third most in the history of the division behind Urijah Faber (six) and Rani Yahya (five). In addition to Sandhagen, Sterling has also elicited tapouts from Cody Stamann, Johnny Eduardo and Takeya Mizugaki.

10: Victories at 135 pounds for Sterling, fourth most in the division’s history behind T.J. Dillashaw (12), Assuncao (11) and Faber (11).

5: Consecutive triumphs for Sterling, which ties him with Vera for the second-longest active winning streak at 135 pounds behind only current top contender Petr Yan.

16: UFC welterweight triumphs for Neil Magny, tying him with former champion Matt Hughes for the second most in the history of the division. Georges St. Pierre is No. 1 with 19 triumphs. Magny earned a unanimous verdict over Anthony Rocco Martin on Saturday night.

23: Significant strike advantage for Magny in Round 3, when he pushed the pace on a fading Martin. The Elevation Fight Team product also outlanded his foe 12 to 11 in Round 1 and 14 to 11 in Round 2.

4: Consecutive victories for highly-touted prospect Sean O’Malley, the fourth-longest active winning streak in the bantamweight division. “Sugar” knocked out Eddie Wineland 1:54 into the open round of their featured encounter.

21: Bantamweight appearances in UFC and WEC competition for Wineland, the most in the history of the division.

103: Significant strikes landed by Alex Caceres in a clear-cut three-round verdict over 20-year-old Chase Hooper at featherweight. By comparison, Hooper landed 53.

.620: Significant striking accuracy for Caceres, who landed 103 of 164 attempts. Hooper was much less accurate, landing 53 of 187 attempts for a 28 percent success rate. Hooper’s figure is the third-worst accuracy for a fighter attempting at least 100 significant strikes in a fight thus far in 2020.

32: Significant strikes by which Cody Stamann outlanded Brian Kelleher in a 145-pound bout between two converted bantamweights. Stamann outlanded his foe 24 to 17 in Round 1, 35 to 19 in Round 2 and 30 to 21 in Round 3.

11: Fighters to end UFC bouts with leg kicks after Alex Perez accomplished the feat in a preliminary flyweight clash with Jussier Formiga. Edson Barboza is the only fighter to end two bouts with leg kicks in UFC competition.

2: Consecutive UFC events featuring a bout ending via leg kicks. Last week, Chris Gutierrez defeated Vince Morales via leg-kick TKO in the second round of their encounter at UFC on ESPN 9.

15: Significant leg strikes landed by Perez. The Team Oyama product landed 29 significant strikes overall in his first-round stoppage of Formiga, who landed one leg kick in defeat.

79: Significant strikes landed by Devin Clark in a unanimous decision triumph against Alonzo Menifield at light heavyweight. That represents a career best in 10 UFC appearances for “Brown Bear,” who outlanded his foe in each frame and landed 63 percent of his attempts. By comparison, Menifield landed 39 significant strikes.

56: Significant body strikes landed by Clark. Menifield, meanwhile, landed just six.
