Gray Maynard has been knocked out three times in the last 15 months.
Maynard crashed and burned for the third time in as many appearances in the UFC Fight Night “Bader vs. St. Preux” co-main event on Saturday at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine, as he succumbed to second-round punches from Ross Pearson. The 34-year-old Maynard, who twice fought for the Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight crown, met his end 95 seconds into round two. The defeat followed losses to Nate Diaz and T.J. Grant, leaving many to ponder whether or not Maynard has a future in the sport.
